Company Information
Deemac Services Ltd has been operating in the building services industry since 1986. During this time we have steadily built up a clientele of regular customers, most of whom we have serviced for at least 10 years. These contracts range from once a week clean ups and one off work to larger five and seven day a week operations. Our areas of operation include the following:
- General cleaning of Commercial offices, Council properties, Government departments, Warehouses

Industry Associations
Deemac Services Ltd is a current registered member of Building Service Contractors of New Zealand Inc. (BSCNZ) abiding by the Rules of BSCNZ, and complying with the BSCNZ Code of Practice.
We are Foundation and Certified Members of the Carpet Cleaners Association of NZ Inc. (CCANZ).
We are a Certified Firm of the Institute of inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
David Macaulay is a Past President and Vice-President of the Canterbury Branch of BSCNZ and a National Committee member of CCANZ. Christine Macaulay is a current Committee member of the BSCNZ Canterbury Branch.
Our Company is also a member of the Canterbury Employers Chamber of Commerce and Employers Assistance Ltd.
Seeing the need for an increasing National presence we formed an additional Company in 2012. New Zealand Facility Services Group www.nzfsgroup.co.nz offers the same type of service Deemac Services Ltd has become known for and we have representation in all the main centres as well as regional areas. NZFS Group has combined experience of 80 years in the Industry.
Security & Confidentiality
We take very seriously our responsibilities for the security and confidentiality of our Clients premises and business. Any prospective staff are security checked through the Ministry of Justice.
All staff wear named uniforms. At all times external doors are secured while we are working and our staff are under instruction not to grant access to anyone who cannot be identified.
Insurance
Deemac Services Ltd holds comprehensive Insurance cover for the protection of our Clients and Ourselves. This includes Public Liability of $20,000,000.00. We believe this level of cover provides greater peace of mind for our customers.
